Spanish International and Atletico Madrid forward Diego Costa is on the verge of finalizing his move to English heavyweights Chelsea. The deal is all done and will be finalized before World Cup.

The Spanish Giants, who had a strong season with Diego Costa acing as their anchor man accepted 32million buy-out clause after Costa himself asked the club to accept the offer. Diego Costa limped off in the earlier stages of first half of the Champions League final against city rivals Real Madrid and has been called up for the Spanish squad by Vincente Del Bosque. He is expected to to lead the line if Bosque chooses to play a striker up front instead of false 9. Cesc Fabregas has been leading the line in False 9 and Bosque has delivered well while playing that type of game.

Jose Mourinho, Manager of Chelsea Football Club is a huge admirer of Diego Costa and will be looking to add Brazil-born forward in his attacking ranks. Costa scored 36 goals in 52 games which helped Atletico Madrid clinch the League title and killing off the Madrid-Barcelona domination in the league. The strike has already passed his medical and will be looking to finalize the move before the World Cup commences. He will partner Fernando Torres in Chelsea squad, with whom he is fighting for starting berth in Spanish National team.

Costa played a handful of matches with Brazilian National Team before making his switch to the Spanish National Team last year. Costa arrived to Spain at the age of 18 years and played for several clubs before breaking into the squad of Atletico last season. He partnered with Radamel Falcao and then took over the role solely after Colombian hitman left for AS Monaco. Costa has since then played well under manager Diego Simeone and will be looking to take a step ahead in his career.
