Bimal Gharti Magar, who was out on trial to RSC Anderlecht of Belgium has returned today and said that he was confident of playing in Europe.

ANFA U-16 skipper and Nepalese International Bimal Gharti Magar is back from a successful stint in youth team of Belgian Club RSC ANderlecht. He spent couple of months in academy of the club and played three tournaments for the club scoring some goals too.

‘I am confident of playing in Europe’, said Bimal upon his arrival back to Nepal. He also said that the decision from the Belgian Club will arrive within couple of weeks and he is confident in making the final cut.

Rene Koster, former coach of Bangladeshi team who has been highly active in hs move to foreign clubs said that Bimal played very well and the club might call him back for further training and sign once he is available.

Bimal and his team are participating in AFC U-17 championship in Thailand and the Continent’s top youth tournament is just another arena for this youngster to prove himself.

Such has been this year for Bimal that he was nominated for top sports award in two categories. He is vying for Popular Player of the year award and Youth Player of the year award in NSJF Pulsar Sports Award, which is top sports award in the country. The award ceremony will be held in Nepal Academy Hall, Kamaladi on 19th of Jestha.
