England face Peru as part of their World Cup Preparations in an international friendly to be played at The Wembley.
England are playing their first international friendly with the final 23 players announced to take part in World Cup to be held in Brazil after couple of weeks. Manager Roy Hodgson is expected to field his strongest XI as he looks to pick a set squad for the World Cup.
Hodgson will have a tough test picking up his starting XI as he looks to field his strongest XI for this game. Steven Gerrard and Jordan Henderson are expected to be in the holding midfield role in 4-2-3-1 which thy have excelled in Liverpool this season as well. Their Liverpool compatriot Raheem Sterling will be facing a selection fight against Adam Lallana and another Saints’ player Luke Shaw will start in bench behind Leighton Baines. However, these players in bench will be given a chance to prove themselves in between the game.
Head Coach of Peru National Football Team Pablo Bengoechea did not call up Claudio Pizarro and Jose Paolo Guerrero for this round of International friendlies as he seeks to give experience to new players for their further games. The young players in his squad will try to make an impact for their further assurance of inclusion in the squad.

This is the first meeting between these sides in a senior international arena. England will play Ecuador after this game as part of their World Cup preparation away form England while Peru will play yet another World Cup participant Switzerland in Basel.
