Uruguay manager Oscar Tabarez has named 25-men squad for upcoming World Cup to be held in Brazil from next month.
Oscar Tabarez has included PFA Player of The Year Luis Suarez and PSG Hitman Edinson Cavani along with Diego Forlan for Uruguay’s World Cup campaign. The provisional squad consists of 25 players, out of which 2 players will be axed for the final selection in days to come. Southampton midfielder Gaston Ramirez is also set to play his first World Cup as he is certain to make the cut along with Atletico Madrid midfielder Cristian Rodriguez.
Tabarez also named Liverpool defender Sebastian Coates, who is out on loan to his old club Nacional following recovery of ankle injury he sustained last August. Fernando Muslera is expected to guard the goals while Diego Godin and Diego Lugano will be guarding at the back.

The deadline to submit the final list of 23 players is set to 2nd June by FIFA. The provisional squad must contain no more than 30 players as per FIFA’s rules.
