Mexico coach Miguel Herrera today announced the final squad for the upcoming World Cup to be held in Brazil from next month.

Javier Hernandez is expected to put up the light in Mexcio’s attacking power.

Mexico has announced their final squad for the World CUp to be held in Brazil from next month. Rafael Marquez will captain the side as the manager also included Giovanni Dos Santos, who seems to be misfit in current playing style of Mexico. The manager clarified on Villareal hitman’s selection saying he brings in the creativity and can operate as a second striker too.

Club America goalkeeper Mosies Munoz did not find himself in the squad as the manager opted for Jesus Corona, Guilermo Ochoa and Alfredo Talavera. Ochoa and Corona are expected to fight for the starting spot with Talavera becoming the third choice.

Mexico are in Group A of the World Cup along with hosts Brazil. Croatia and Cameroon are the remaining two opponents in their group. Mexico will play several friendly ahead of their trip to South American nation They will face Israel on 28th May in Mexico City and then Ecuador in Arlington, Texas on 31st May. They will then face Bosnia and Herzegovina on 3rd June in Chicago and end the friendlies by playing Portugal in June 6 at Foxborough, Mass.
