Brazilian coach Luis Felipe Scolari has announced his final squad for the World Cup to be held in home country in about a month. Emission of Kaka and Filipe Luis is surprise among the fans while Miranda was also overlooked in selection.

Neymar of Brazil is expected to lead the team from the front.

Luis Felipe Scolari announced the final squad for the World Cup as they look to win the sixth title in the history in the home soil. Scolari previously had revealed eight players to certainly be in the squad and now he has revealed the final squad that will represent the home country. For the first time since 1994, the Brazilian roster will be without a former World Cup winner. There are six Premier League players in the Brazilian roster with only three playing in Native country Brazil.

Brazil are pitted in Group A as they are host of the tournament and have Croatia, Mexico and Cameroon as their group opponents. Brazil will play the opening match against Croatia in the Maracana Stadium on 12th of June. They will play their second match against Mexico in 17th June while they end their group stage against Cameroon on 23rd June. Scolari is hopeful that they will be challenging the title and winning it for record sixth time.
