The Third Udaypur Gold Cup is scheduled to start from 25th Chaitra and the final match will be played on 2nd Baishakh. Winner of the first two editions Three Star Club won’t take part in the tournament. The winner of the tournament will receive 2 lakhs and the runner ups will get 1 lakh. The cash prize was doubled from the last edition.
The expected expenditure of the tournament is estimated Rs. 23.39,000. The president of the Udaypur Gold cup said.” It is challenging to organize this kind of tournament outside Kathmandu.”

Six A division teams will participate with two local teams. Eight participating teams are:
1. NMB Machhindra FC
2. Nepal APF Club
3. Nepal Army Club
4. Simrik Saraswati Club
5. Dharan Football Club
6. Samrat Sporting Club
7. Sagarmatha XI
8. Udayapur XI
