Nabin Neupane had a reason to call this season as his worst till yesterday, but now he has something special to cheer about. The football after 2046 is called as Modern Era in Nepali football and Nabin is the first player to win the league for the fourth time in the history.
Previously Nabin had won the league with MMC three times on 2057, 2060 and 2062. On 2062 Sagar Thapa was also in the team with Nabin.
After the match Nabin Neupane told Kantipur.” The pain of not playing is on another way, but I guess I am the happiest one for winning the trophy. I am much happier that with Manang, I have added a new record.”
Sagar Thapa told.” When I won the first time I was a player, but this time I am a captain. I am very happy.”
Discluding Sagar and Nabin this is first league title for all Manange players. This is first league title for coach Hari Om Shrestha too.
