The major problems of Boys Union and Sri Nath RCT

Boys Union and RCT are near to relegation, Givemegoal points out some reason for their struggle this season.

Boys Union Club won the last year’s B division league and proceeded to the top flight and they did impress football fans by making their way to the final of the Ncell cup and they also grabbed 4 best awards including best keeper, best defender, best player and best coach award in the knock out tournament.

Shreenath collection RCT was one of the better performer’s in last years A division league, as the club with great history made their way to the super eight. The rise of Amar Dongol, The magical moves of Afeez were the highlights of the last season for the RCT. RCT didn’t participate in this year’s cell cup and they were punished with Three negative points by All Nepal Football Association.

RCT’s team doesn’t have a depth in the squad and they have one of the worst defending records in the league conceeding 14 goals already. They don’t have a reliable goal keeper in the team as Prem has failed to impress and Dilip who was in charge of their goal post for one and half decade is no more same leader with his growing age. Other than the departmental teams, all other teams in A division league have foreign player who are physically strong and can run for 90 mins in the field, but there are no foreign players in the team and their team doesn’t look same in the second half of the match, conceeding majority of the goals in second half. Their last year best Nepali player Amar Dongol is not in good touch. He has not been able to find the back of the net. Another brilliant player Afeez moved to Sankata after RCT could not hold onto the African man following his one year ban.

The Boys Union club has an average starting lineup, but they too don’t have a good bench which allows coach with little option.  Asim who has great finishing is not a good dribbler and the magician who could fake oppositions defense and statistically he is not a good passer too. He has not been given a chance to show what he is best at, the attacker is not feeded with a ball from the midfield. Even Boys Union have problem in their defense as the newly promoted side has conceded 14 goals already and they even lack creativity at the heart of the ground.  The financial part of the club is also another problem as Boys Union is the only team in the league without a title sponsor.. The donation and personal investment of the officials has been main source of expenditure for the club.
