The most successful club in the history of the Premeira Liga, SL Benfica will face Gil Vicente in the league cup second stage group match.

Both the sides has been unbeaten in the group, however the difference only coming when Benfica has won all of their two group matches played while Gil Vicente has drawn both of their match. They will the playing their third match in the group D as the mid table side faces the current league leaders and previous year second team.

Gil Vicente ended up 13th last season to hold on to the top tier Football in the Portuguese Premeira Liga. They were able to collect 25 points in 30 matches with 6 wins and 7 draws in the 2013-2013 season.

They have done better this season already winning 5 matches 10 stand 10th at the current stage in the league table with 12 matches still left to be played. Gil Vicente has 18 points with 5 wins and 3 draws in18 matches so far this season.

Meanwhile the home side have been dominating the Portuguese top tier Football with four consecutive title wins, however the break came only last season when they were just 1 point sort of the league leaders Porto as they collected 77 points in 30 matches.

Arsenal target 22 years old Spanish striker Rodrigo Moreno

The eyes will be in Arsenal target Rodrigo who is set for a January move to the English Premier League current leaders Arsenal if the deal could be made between the English and the Portuguese side.
