A 17 year old Goalkeeper in London with fair experience on his age wants to try out for the Nepal National Team.

Inam Kharel, a complete unknown face to the Nepalese football lover is a 17 year old Nepalese who currently resides in London. Born in 1996, 14th February, the 17 year old kid has couple of European experience, however only in lower division. Previously played for the goalkeeper at the KMC school team in Nepal, Inam has already collected notable experience on his age.

Played for Red Rovers JFC’s U16 team, Erith & Belvedure U18 and Charlton Athletic Fc Community Trust Academy, he has trained with Erith and Belvedure senior team and currently trains with Welling FC senior team which plays in Conference Premier, the fifth tier football in England.

“I had trials with Charlton Athletic FC where more than 800 players appeared for trials and 60 got selected. Welling FC goalkeeper coach saw me play there and he called me to train with them” , Inam informed.

“Welling is interested to sign be but problem is my age and position means the club already has a goalkeeper, so the coach wants me to train with them as they could have a close look at me.”

“When I played for Erith & Belvedure U18 team, we have a match with the senior team where I saved a penalty and then called me to train with the first team then.”, Inam continued.

“I aim to play for my country before I am 20 years old because I have a high aim with my Nation. I want to take Nepal to World cup. May be its tough but it’s my dream”, Inam told givemegoal.com

“I will get a contract with the club in London in about 5 months, then I shall come Nepal for trails if I am allowed to.”, the 17 years old said.

There might be many hidden talents abroad, Inam is just an example, it’s just a matter of time which can inform us how long he could go. He aims to play with a premier league side on his future.
