Defending champions Manang Marsyangdi club hammers Jawalakhel youth club in ongoing Safal club tournament.

Jawalakhel started their Safal cup journey with a win over NIBL Friends club , however their journey ends up with a 5-0 defeat over MMC who played their opening match in the quarter finals.
The MMC club started their journey well enough and notable, Nepal National team captain Sagar Thapa added a goal and an assist on his name while Deepak Rai was adjudged man of the match on a match that saw 5 goals by 5 different players.
The first goal of the match came from man of the match Deepak Rai in 12th minute as he utilized Sagar Thapa’s pass to give his team early lead which remained the sole goal in the first half.
The second half saw four goals started with an early in first minute from Sujal Shrestha. The third goal came in 59th minute when Sagar Thapa’s shot from just outside the opponent box found the inner side of the post to get the goal.
Sulav Maskey added another for MMC in 76th minute Shiva Shrestha ended with 89th minute goal on Sujal Shrestha’s corner. Nepal Army club will play Yeti Himalayan Sherpa club in second quarter finals.
