Third Safal Pokhara Cup to start from 5th Kartik

The third edition of the Safal Pokhara cup is going to be organized from 5th Kartik to 16th Kartik in Pokhara Rangasala. Kaski Pokhara is organizer of the tournament as Safal Dairy is the major sponsor of the tournament since its introduction.

Total Budget of the Tournament is expected to be Budget 5,560,000. The winners of the tournament will receive cash prize of 3,55,00 while runners up will be awarded 2 Lakh 1 thousand. Best players in their category will receive 15,000 each.

During the press meet held at Dasarath Stadium Hall ANFA Kaski prez Gopi Bdr Bhattrai said.” Nepali police club didn’t participated due to their own internal reason and their players are already in holiday.”

Talking about the exclusion of the NMB Machindra Club he added.” we want to focus on National u-16 team and to give more exposure to them so we decided to include them in the tournament instead of NMB Machhindra Club.”

Eight Nepali Clubs and 3 foreign teams will be participating in the tournament along with the organizers. The teams participating in Safal Pokhara International Tournament are:
