Thee Star will be playing against Balkan FT in their first match in final round of the AFC President cup. Balkan won treble last season by grabbing all three major trophy of the domestic football which includes Yokary League, Turkmenistan Cup and Turkmenistan Super Cup.

It is learned from Malaysia that Three Star Club’s key players are struggling to get fully fit for the match. The list of unfit players includes Jagjeet Shrestha, Prakash Budathoki, Sandip Rai and Bikram Lama.
This is third AFC president cup appearance of Balkan FT. They have been playing this tournament regularly from 2011 and failed to reach in final stage last year.
This is second AFC president cup for Three Star Club and the first one after 2005 which was held in Kathmandu. Three Star lost to Dordoi Dynamo in the semis in the spot kick battle.
Ahead of the clash Talking with givemegoal.com TSC midfielder Nirajan Khadka said to givemegoal.com.” Players are positive morally and we have experience in the squad to cope against the strong opponent.”
He added.” He didn’t had enough time for preparation as our half squad was busy with National team but we have better co-ordination in team.”
These two teams are playing against each other for the first time.
