Bhutanese Captain: We want to perform better

Bhutanese national team arrives Kathmandu today and they were welcomed by ANFA officials. They will be playing their first match on 2nd September against Afghanistan at Halchowk APF Stadium.

Talking with Media after arrival Bhutanese captain Pasang said.” We didn’t had proper training with National team as we recently played big tournament in Bhutan named King’s cup.”

Talking about the chances he added.” After the long participation we failed to progress through the knock out stages but this time looking at the team in the poll we expect to cross the group stages.”

Bhutan trained only for a week and will be staying at hotel Grand during the SAFF championship.
