Maldives starts training for SAFF Championship and squad announced

Maldives football federation announced 25 men list for the training camp for the preparation of the upcoming SAFF Champions. They will depart Thailand for the training camp.

 

The shocking news in the squad is Ibrahim Fazeel is ruled out of the squad. He is the highest goal scorer in SAFF championship for Maldives. After the training camp the squad will be trimmed to 20 including 3 goal keepers.

The players are only included from only five clubs. Player list:

New Radiant Club: Imran Mohamed, Shifan, Umair, Ashfaq, Waheed, Gasir, Niyaz, Abdullah, Umar, Yaamin, Niyaz Mohamed.

Maziya Club: Imran, Ahmed, Rasheed, Abdhulla, Rasheed, Nasheed, Arif.

BG Sports: Arif, Adhuham, Zaadh.

Valencia: Faisal.

Eagles: Imaaz.
