Maradona is better than Messi

Davor Suker former Croatian international recently stated in his interview that Maradona is the top player till the date and believes hard work can push Messi above there.

Messi have been always compared to the greatest footballer of all the time. Messi have already achieved every top level club trophies but yet to claim most important world cup trophy.

Talking about four times Ballon d’Or winner who is celebrating his birthday today Croatian Legend Davor Suker compared him with Maradona.

When asked who is better between Maradona and Messi, Suker replied to FIFA.com.” I think Maradona is better, Messi’s time will come though: he’ll score loads of goals, break even more records, but he needs to win something with Argentina. He’s very young and his time will come. I wish him all the best.”

Talking about Ronaldo and Messi together 45 year old Croatian stated.” It has to be said that Messi and Cristiano are out of this world, they’re so far ahead of the pack. They can be compared with the likes of Pele, Maradona, Cruyff, Beckenbauer. This era belongs to them.”
