Former Manchester United player Lou Macari has stated Manchester United wants Rooney in fit condition. It is rumored all around that Rooney wants to leave club as soon as possible as he is not regular in the squad and another reason is added due to arrival of his former club’s manager David Moyes.
It is believed that Rooney handed a transfer request to club after the departure of Sir Alex from the managerial post of the club. Rooney wasn’t happy during last season as his regular starting position and front position was captured by Dutchmen Robin Van Persie.
Rooney transferred to Manchester United in record breaking 18 millions transfer for a teen age player of 18 year old during 2003 and he have been consistent player for Red Devils since then.
Recently talking with Talksport former Red Devil star Lou Macari said.” I don’t know what there is to discuss. Speculation at this time of the year is what we expect but that’s not to say that Wayne is going to be leaving Old Trafford. He was probably a little bit unhappy about the amount of times he was taken off last season but I was at most of the games and it’s difficult to say the manager’s decision to substitute him was wrong.”
Macari added.” I think United would want to keep a fit and happy Wayne Rooney in his best condition but that’s the big question: Is he in his best condition and the right frame of mind and does he want to get back to the form he showed when he first arrived at the club?.”
