Benteke doesn’t want to leave club currently

The Belgium international and Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke reveals he doesn’t want to leave club this soon and if he leaves it will be only next year in search of European football.

Benteke played in high note last season and played huge part is relegation survival of Aston Villa. The young Belgium international also named himself in top five league goal scorers of the season.

Fallowing his performance from last year he has caught eye of many European giants and other teams. Benteke’s agent recently talked with Skysports.

Talking with Skysports Eric Kismet said.” Christian and I are surprised and disgusted by a story in The Sunnewspaper claiming Benteke can do what he wants, He has been misquoted. He has called me today from New York and he is disgusted, I have told him not to speak to any media from now on. If there is a team, a bigger team that is playing European football next year, shows an interest with Villa concerning Christian, I would lie if I said that Christian would ignore that.”

He added.” He’s more than happy to stay if he has to stay but we all know he had a good season and it’s normal that maybe other teams are more interested in him and he might be interested to play European football, which is why.”
