Ronaldo insists Messi is better than Ronaldo

Its always a tough question for friends, critics and football lovers to answer who is better among Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi but Ronaldo’s former striking partner Wayne Rooney thinks Messi is better than Ronaldo.

Ronaldo and Rooney had fantastic time in Manchester before Ronaldo moved to Real Madrid. The English international Rooney now believes Ronaldo is still one step behind player of the year Messi. He gave this statement just before the second leg of Champions league against Real Madrid which will be played at Old Trafford.

Talking with Google hangout Rooney said.” They’re two different players. But I think Messi’s incredible. I think he’s the best ever, so I’d have to say Messi. But Ronaldo has been a bit unlucky because, in any other time, he’d be winning all the awards Messi has. But they’re two of the best players of all-time.”

Another young English international Cleverley talked on both but he picked Ronaldo among two saying.” I never played with Ronaldo. They’re two different players, but at the minute I’d probably take Ronaldo.”
