Three Star gets hard fought win over struggling Friends.

Femi Joshua’s spectacular goal five minutes from time won Three Star all three points against Friends in this Lalitpur derby.

Friends started the game brilliantly forcing Kiran to save in the first minute of the match. Friends then were off and Three Star could not capitalize the chances that came for while Friends did make a good attack which was called for an offside. Three Star then came close in couple of occasions but their foreign recruits could not get the all important lead. Both team went out scoreless in first half.

The second half was similar to first half with both the teams building but failing to score. It was 86th  minute when Femy Joshua attempted a shot on goal from 25 yards and it went into the top corner. The goalie had no chance and quickly from the restart Friends initiated an attack which was brilliantly taken to finish line by Ritesh Mallla but he was late to shot into the open goal. Three Star then played up the 4 minutes additional time and got their second victory of the league.
