RCT Stuns Madhyapur in First Semifinal

RCT scores two goals in the first half to confirm their spot in the finals of the ongoing Ncell cup where Amar Dongol and Yugol Kishor Rai star in the match.

Madhyapur felt absence of Sinkeman, Bal Gopal  Shahukhala, Bed Shrestha and Rupendra Shrestha as they got defeated in the semi finals. RCT got the lead on a volley from Amar Dongol in the 24th minute while Yugol doubled it before the end of the first half.

First half started with Madhyapur displaying some great game in the middle of the pitch but they failed to score despite of getting some free kick chances as well stimulating the spectators. It was Amar Dongol who changed the roar into silence scoring a volley after all the hard work came from Afeez from a right wing. Trailing on a game, Madhyapur tried to comeback but they lacked proper finish which kept them behind in the game. Yugol Kishor Rai doubled the tally after couple of  misses as it was Afeez again who added an assist.

Madhyapur came back in the second half with dictated formation as they changed from 5-3-2, defensive to 4-4-2 but they never managed to get a goal. Madhyapur got a chance to score in the form of penalty after Neeraj handled the ball in the box but Dilip Chhetri proved hero as he saved the ball diving right. Madhyapur looked helpless as RCT looked strong in the possession and never loosed the ball easily and they were able to keep the lead.

RCT will play the winner of  second semi final which will be played tomorrow as a clash between Manang Marsyangdi and Police club.
