Boudha FC Stuns Sarashowti to Enter Quarter Final

Boudha FC remains unbeaten in the group stage as they beat struggling Sarashowti in their last match of the group stage.

Boudha FC enters the knock out stage of the Ncell cup after they score one goal in either half of the game. The goal came from Subin Shrestha in 25′ while Suman Lama doubled the lead in the 53′ of the game making the score 2-0 in Boudha’s favor.

Starting from the first half, Boudha displayed control in the possession which led them into outstanding win. Subin Shrestha scored from the box which provided Boudha breakthrough. They did not give Sarashowti any change to create attacking move which kept them 1-0 ahead till the end of first half although Boudha went through the shock after Govind Thapa was shown double yellow card in the first half, compelled to leave the field.

Sarashowti in-spite of having numerical lead in players, they struggled to stop 10 men Boudha. After Sarashowti failed to score, Boudha managed to gather second goal of the match which could be counted as the goal of the tournament till the date. Suman Lama found the shot into net which he scored from right top corner of the box.

Boudha never stopped attacking as they dominated Saraswati who could hardly create any goal scoring opportunity. They failed to create any proper move which got them out of the tournament. Boudha could have collected third goal of the match as Susan Lama continued attacking but failed to score later, as a result the match ended 2-0 favouring Boudha.

“The result we got was due to long trainning and hard work” , claimed the winning coach Kiran shrestha in post match conference.
