Ganesh Thapa: We use to feel proud to wear Jersey

President of ANFA and Vice President of AFC talked about his past days and expressed the plans of ANFA for upcoming year infront of the reports at the sponsorship signing ceremony of CMG Sankata club.

Ganesh Thapa was one of the best player in Nepal on his time. More than a ANFA president he is a football lover who wants to see Nepali football developing fast. He is also the reason why Nepali football has been moving towards the professionalism in recent years.

Talking in the ceremony Thapa said.” We didn’t earn much by playing, we use to get a new jersey and those days used to be a proud moment, now players in most of the clubs in A Division are earning minimum of 25k per month and B and C division has improved alot then before.”

ANFA president said.” Most of the clubs based in Kathmandu has been facing problems for the venue of the training sessions but soon ANFA will be building 3-4 training ground in Malpokhari which will be helpful for professional Clubs.”

Ganesh Thapa revealed the cash prize in upcoming league will be increasing heavily and winner will be prized around 7.5 millions. And thanked all the sponsors who has been helping to balance the economic conditions of the clubs.
